Hotels along Marquette Ave in Minneapolis in the 1890's

1890's Hotels Along Marquette Avenue in Minneapolis

If you are down on your luck or just want to save some dough, you could get a bunk at the Loop Lodging House (109 Marquette Avenue).  They often rent out to toughs and drunks.  If you are tough and drunk yourself, it might be a good option.

There could be a room at the Marshall Hotel (116 Marquette Avenue ). Lunatics and drug addicts stay there pretty often, so the hotel is noted for its turnover and may offer lodging possibilities to the less-discerning transient visitors.

If you are healthy and unlikely to require medical care, you may find that renting a simple room at the Annex Hotel (255 Marquette Avenue). An earlier guest became ill after drinking a bottle of laudanum and finding medical assistance to come to this particular hotel proved very difficult.
