Hotels Along St. Peter Street

Potential visitors to downtown St. Paul are advised to stay away from the Rouleau Hotel (460 St. Peter Street) at least for the time being because of the horrendous fiery tragedy that took place in the hotel's basement.

Another nearby hotel worth avoiding is the Southern Hotel (462 St. Peter Steet). Guests who are drunk and/or who do not acclimatize themselves well to particularly steep staircases will be better off lodging elsewhere.

The stairs, however, are highly recommended at the Colonnade Hotel (550 St. Peter Street) further up the street. There was a horrific elevator accident at the Colonnade.
